Let us tell you that, recently US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti had informed that the US will send an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station by the end of this year. He had said that a joint mission between the US space agency NASA and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) under the NISAR project can also be launched by the end of this year.
Attention will have to be given on research and technology
Eric Garcetti had also said that India and America need to focus on research and emerging technology. In this way, both countries will be able to take advantage of each other’s strengths. He had said that the amount spent by India on Mission Chandrayaan 3 last year was the same amount spent by America on a similar lunar mission. Garcetti had also said that America has some capabilities, which India still lacks. Both countries will have to increase mutual cooperation to strengthen their capabilities together. (Language)
