Amidst reports of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party chief Shivpal Yadav going with the BJP, Shivpal Yadav has made up his mind to agitate for the Uniform Civil Code. Let us tell you that BJP has been demanding this but now Shivpal Yadav is also raising this issue. Shivpal Yadav has said that he will fulfill the dreams of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Lohia regarding Uniform Civil Code.
Shivpal Yadav said, “Ambedkar ji raised his voice in the Constituent Assembly regarding the Common Civil Code. At the same time, Ram Manohar Lohia also demanded it in 1967. For this we are now raising the voice of Uniform Civil Code. For this we have to agitate, whatever we have to do. We will move forward by strengthening our organization, raising our voices against the unfulfilled dreams of Lohia ji and Ambedkar ji.
Let us inform that Shivpal Yadav said these things in a seminar organized on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti and the death anniversary of Rahul Sankrityayan. On this statement from Shivpal Yadav, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party spokesperson Rashtriya Deepak Mishra said that Shivpal Yadav wants to meet PM Modi, LK Advani and Shanta Kumar Singh soon to demand the implementation of Uniform Civil Code.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Shivpal Singh Yadav’s Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) has dissolved all its state work committees, national and state work cells and spokespersons. In such a situation, it is believed that Shivpal Yadav can take a big political decision in the coming days.
Let us tell you that in the last few days, the closeness between Shivpal and BJP is being seen. There are speculations that Shivpal wants to come with the BJP. However, Shivpal Yadav has not given any clear statement regarding this yet. At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav has said about Shivpal’s joining BJP that I have no information about this but I congratulate that BJP is ending familyism.
Uniform Civil Code: Under this, there will be one law for all religions. Right now the country has its own laws for all religions. Apart from this, with the implementation of Uniform Civil Code, there will be one law for Hindu and Muslim society. In which things related to marriage, divorce and properties will be included. Right now there is personal law for Muslims and Christians have their own personal law board. When the Uniform Civil Code comes into force, people of all religions will be under one law.
