There were violent demonstrations with protests in many states including UP, Delhi, Jharkhand, Bengal demanding the arrest of Nupur Sharma. Meanwhile, the latest statement of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has come out. In which he has said that “If Indian Muslims have to keep alive the sacrifices of their elders, then they have to become a political leader.”
In this video that is going viral on social media, Owaisi while addressing the people said, “Muslims of India will not get their due just by slogans. You have to be a political force. You will get your due only when you become a political force. The Muslims of India will not get the right by mere sloganeering, rhetoric.
Owaisi, the national president of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, is seen saying in the video, “If Muslims in the country want to achieve their rightful place, their elders, who gave their lives to liberate this country, if If you want to keep their sacrifice alive then you have to become a political force. Till you do not become a political force, justice will not be done to Majlum Muslims.

On this video of Owaisi, people have given their reaction on social media. A user named Ashok Kumar wrote, “This man never talks about common man. Don’t know what studies you have done. At the same time, another user wrote, “Nothing will happen with violence, be wise.”
Let us inform that there is a strong protest from AIMIM regarding Nupur Sharma’s statement. On Thursday, AIMIM workers demonstrated outside the Sansad Marg police station in New Delhi district. After which 30 activists have been detained by Delhi Police. They have been arrested under sections related to obstructing government work, rioting by joining a crowd and assembling for criminal act.
