The issue of controversial remarks on the Prophet Muhammad is continuously gaining momentum. While former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has been suspended from the party by the BJP, now AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has also found it costly to make provocative statements. Delhi Police has registered an FIR against him.
At the same time, TV debates on news channels on this issue are also being seen a lot. In a debate on the FIR against Swami Yeti Narasimhanand and Owaisi in a private news channel, Congress spokesperson Alok Sharma expressed his protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah through a symbolic poster.
Alok Sharma showed up in a poster which had ‘PM/HM’ written on it. He said, “Even after such a big incident, PM Modi and Amit Shah are stitching their faces. Never before have such a weak Prime Minister and Home Minister.
Alok Sharma said, “The PM and Home Minister of the country should make a statement by holding a press conference. There has never been such a weak Prime Minister in the country before, who has stitched his lips on such a big incident and is calling himself 56-inch chest, Chanakya and don’t know what.
Alok Sharma said about Nupur Sharma’s controversial statement, “Five years ago today, I had explained to Nupur Sharma on Zee News that stop spitting poison. Be like my little sister. But they get all the patronage from above. The Congress leader hit out at a statement by Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, a minister in the Modi government, saying, “Those who gave the statement of Ramzade and Haramzade in Delhi were made ministers in the Modi government.”
Alok Sharma, while speaking, said that PM Modi followed those people on Twitter, who spread enmity in the country. This boosted his morale. He said that on one side their (BJP’s) partner Owaisi is engaged, and on the other side the people of BJP are engaged. On the FIR against these people, I would say that after eating nine hundred rats, the cat went to Haj.
Let us tell you that the government is looking strict regarding the provocative statement. On Thursday, Delhi Police registered two FIRs for spreading hatred and hurting religious sentiments. While Nupur Sharma is an accused in one, 31 people including Asaduddin Owaisi and Yeti Narasimhanand have been named in the second FIR.
