The situation of Coronavirus in India is under control and at present there are less than 30 thousand active cases in the country. But the rapidly increasing cases of corona in South-East Asia and Europe have alerted the Indian government. In view of the increasing cases of corona in China and European countries, the central government has written a letter to the states and has given guidelines to be alert to ensure that the infection does not spread again.
Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has said in a letter to all the states and union territories that in case of outbreak of corona variant, it should be detected in time and also people should be motivated for vaccination. The Union Health Secretary has instructed the states to emphasize on the five-fold strategy i.e. test, track, treat, immunization and adherence to corona rules.
In view of the increasing cases of corona in Southeast Asia and European countries, a high level meeting was held by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on 16 March. In this meeting, all the states were instructed to focus on rapid genome sequencing and monitoring of samples. Actually, China is facing the biggest attack of this deadly virus since the beginning of the corona epidemic. For the last few days, record cases of corona are being registered in China.
Talking about the cases of corona in India, less than 5 thousand cases are coming daily. There have been 2,528 new cases of infection in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 3,997 people have been discharged and 149 people have died. The total number of active cases of corona in the country is 29,181. Talking about the daily infection rate, it is only 0.40 percent, which is a relief news. So far 5,16,281 patients have died due to coronavirus infection in the country. The total vaccination figures in the country are 1,80,97,94,58.
