Shiv Sena workers raised slogans against the rebel leaders at many places on Saturday amid the political struggle in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, to prevent any untoward incident in Mumbai, the administration has imposed Section 144. At the same time, regarding the rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has said that they (rebel MLAs) can do whatever they want. I will not interfere in their affairs. They have to take their own decision.
CM Uddhav Thackeray said that some people are asking me to say something for the rebel MLAs but I have already said that they (rebel MLAs) can do whatever they want, I will not interfere in their affairs. They can take their own decision, but no one should use Balasaheb Thackeray’s name.
Challenging the rebel MLAs present in Guwahati, Uddhav said that Eknath Shinde should be shown by asking for votes without the name of Balasaheb Thackeray. He said that Shiv Sena belonged to Balasaheb Thackeray and will always belong to him.
Sanjay Raut told that Uddhav Thackeray has said that those who have left, they should ask for votes in the name of Shiv Sena and if they ask for votes, then in the name of their own father. Ask for votes in the name of Balasaheb Thackeray, the father of Shiv Sena.
Troubles for Shinde faction may increase: Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Assembly issues notice regarding disqualification of 16 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs of Eknath Shinde camp staying at a hotel in Guwahati in Assam.
It is worth noting that the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs led by Eknath Shinde have decided to name their faction as “Shiv Sena Balasaheb”. Giving information to news agency ANI, rebel Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar said that the MLAs of Eknath Shinde Camp have named their faction after Balasaheb.
At the same time, the Congress is keeping its eye on the ongoing political developments in Maharashtra. Former Chief Minister of the state Ashok Chavan, while giving his reaction to the Eknath Shinde faction, has said that such groups will not be considered authorized unless the Speaker gives legal permission.
In fact, while the rebel MLAs have decided to name their faction after Shiv Sena Balasaheb, Shiv Sena has written a letter to the Election Commission appealing to ban the use of Balasaheb’s name.
