The debate about the Gyanvapi mosque complex is in full swing in the country these days. The Muslim side is claiming that Gyanvapi is a mosque since the beginning, while the Hindu side is claiming that the cruel Mughal ruler Aurangzeb destroyed the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Banaras and built the mosque. There was a debate on News18 India regarding this issue, on which the anchor of the show Amish Devgan asked sharp questions to the Muslim panelists.
Why the pictures of deities in the mosque?
The anchor asked the Muslim panelist the question that why did the British officer Watson raise questions about the mosque in his book and said that how can there be a mosque in the middle of the temples? There is no other such mosque in the world where the pictures of gods and goddesses are found on the walls.
On this, the panelists from the Muslim side said that Nandi ji was installed by the King of Nepal in the 19th century. If Aurangzeb had to be broken, then Nandi ji would have been broken too. On this, the audience who came to the show asked the question whether Muslim brothers and sisters should set an example of brotherhood by coming forward on what went wrong in the old times.
BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi, while speaking on this, gives the example of 20th century Hitler, saying that Hitler is the reason for the unity between Christians and Jews in Germany. If someone out there today says that the genocide of the Jews is the norm. The world will laugh at this. On the other hand, even today in India, one side considers robbers like Babur, Aurangzeb and Tughlaq as their hero.
On the other hand, speaking from the Muslim side, the RSS considers Hitler as their ideal, on which the BJP spokesperson says that they are telling lies and telling fake history.
