The BJP and Modi government are already under question regarding Agneepath scheme, now the opposition is also putting the RSS in the dock regarding this matter. Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has said that this plan is not the agenda of the RSS, with the help of which they can take control of the army. On the other hand, the central government has banned 35 WhatsApp groups.
What Kumaraswamy said- The JDS leader expressed apprehension that the Agneepath scheme could be part of the “hidden agenda” of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The former Chief Minister of Karnataka said these things on Sunday while questioning the new recruitment policy of the Center for the Defense Forces. During this, he reminded Hitler and the Nazi Party that he had also done something similar.
Speaking to the media in Ramanagara, Kumaraswamy said- “This is a subject that should be talked about in Delhi, not here. Who has provided the concept of Agneepath scheme to the government? Was there any recommendation of the Parliamentary Committee for this? Was there a proposal to create a new program called Agneepath to recruit 10 lakh people for the defense forces? Was there any suggestion from the defense establishment? Who made the suggestion?”
Questioning the intention of the government, he further said that out of these 10 lakh youth who will be recruited in the forces, will they be trained candidates in RSS units? He said- “Some youth have been trained by the RSS and retained as workers. Are there plans to give them employment in the army? Is it the arrangement to provide 2.5 lakh vacancies to such candidates?”
WhatsApp Group Ban- The central government has banned 35 WhatsApp groups for spreading fake news about the Agneepath scheme. At least 10 people have been arrested on Agneepath for spreading fake news and misleading the youth.
