According to the postmortem report, there was a deep wound on the left side of the neck with a knife to the spine. On the left, deep lesions have been found in the sternocleidomastoid muscles, jugular vein and carotid artery as well as up to the esophagus. Apart from this, a severe wound has also been found in the left leg.
It is clear from the report that Umesh Kolhe was brutally killed. Please tell that on June 21, 54-year-old chemist Umesh Prahladrao Kolhe was murdered between 10 pm and 10.30 pm when he was on his way home from his medical shop. According to media reports, Umesh Kolhe was going home after closing his shop ‘Amit Medical Store’. Then two men on a motorcycle came in front of Umesh Kolhe’s scooty.
Actually Umesh Kolhe had forwarded a social media post on WhatsApp supporting Nupur Sharma. By mistake, he shared that post in a group with Muslim members. Umesh’s customers were also in that group.
According to the information of Maharashtra Police, the mastermind of this murder is Irfan Sheikh. He runs an NGO named Rehbar. On the behest of Irfan, the 6 accused arrested together had carried out the murder. In which Umesh Kolhe already knew Yusuf Khan. The two were friends since 2006.
Apart from this, Mahesh Kolhe, brother of the deceased Umesh Kolhe, says that the veterinarian was a good friend of Yusuf Khan (the arrested accused). We knew him since 2006.
