Kanpur Violence Debate: For the past few days, the same issue has been heating up on TV channels. That is allegedly the statement of Nupur Sharma which led to the violence in Kanpur and after that BJP suspended Nupur Sharma from the primary membership of the party. Now one side says some things in support of Nupur Sharma and the other side against Nupur Sharma. One such debate was going on News-18 Hindi news channel, in which Muslim thinker Rizwan Ahmed asked anchor Amish Devgan to ask the people sitting in this debate panel that who instigated Nupur Sharma after all.
Muslim thinker Rizwan Ahmed told anchor Amish Devgan during the TV debate, “I do not stand with Nupur, neither do I stand with the BJP, nor do I stand with the Muslim, nor do I stand with the secular parties of these two pennies. I stand with I am a lawyer man, I stand for justice. And I am asking a question, Amish brother, if you are a true journalist, then definitely take the answer?” He further said, “Section 504 says that if anyone provokes someone and tempts him to commit any wrongdoing or offence, then the provocateur will be punished with 504 punishment, which is punishable with 2 years.”
Who Provoked Nupur Sharma: Rizwan Ahmed
Rizwan Ahmed further raised the question and asked, “When people raised wrong slogans on Ram Navami, people said that Muslims have become Provoke. When Nupur Sharma spoke any wrong words in the TV debate, the stone pelters in Kanpur became provocate. This cowardly country, this cowardly society is not daring to ask that who provoked Nupur Sharma, who provoked Nupur Sharma in that debate.
Wasn’t Ram Mandir Provocation: Atikur Rahman
After this Ateequr Rahman replied to Rizwan Ahmed saying, “If you point one finger at someone, the other four fingers are towards you. What was Ram Mandir Movement, Rath Yatra was not Provocation. Why are those who opened fire on kar sevaks still being cursed? What I want to remind you is that the entire Ram Mandir was not a provision. If there was no provision for Ram Mandir, then how can there be provision for Anti-CAA Protest?
Kanpur incident was not a provision but a crime which happened with planning
After this, while replying to Ateeq ur Rahman, Muslim thinker Rizwan Ahmed replied, “You are giving the wrong narrative by repeatedly calling the Kanpur incident as a provision. Let me tell you about the Kanpur incident, as a lawyer, where there is planning, there is no provision and where there is provision, there is no planning. Nupur gave a statement, then you waited for a week and waited for the rush of Friday, collected petrol, collected stones, this is a crime which was done with planning. If I say something in the Provocation, you will react immediately and not after a week.”
