It may be noted that Nari Shakti Puraskar is an initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development for exceptional contributions made by individuals and institutions. In this, women are rewarded as catalysts of effective positive change in the society.
This includes a total of 28 awards. Including 14-14 awards for the years 2020 and 2021. In this list, 29 persons will be given awards for their valuable services towards the empowerment of women, especially vulnerable and marginalized women.
The winners of the 2020 Nari Shakti Puraskar are from diverse fields like entrepreneurship, agriculture, innovation, social work, arts and crafts, STEMM, and wildlife conservation etc. At the same time, the winners of the 2021 Nari Shakti Puraskar will be given in the fields of Linguistics, Arts and Crafts, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Social Work, Merchant Navy, STEMM, Education and Literature, Disability Rights etc.
