Prime Minister Modi has sent a special message to the Indian team after their defeat against Belgium in the men’s hockey semi-final match of the ongoing Tokyo Olympics in Japan. The Prime Minister himself had witnessed the semi-final match and expressed pride in the team’s game. The Prime Minister said that victory and defeat are part of life. But the team gave its best and he wishes the team all the best for the upcoming match. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had tweeted that he is watching the matches against India and Belgium in the Tokyo Olympics and is proud of the Indian team and their skill.

In the men’s semi-finals, there was a close fight between India and Belgium BCH. The Indian men’s team made a great start in front of Belgium and scored two goals in the first 8 minutes in front of Belgium. In the first quarter, India took a 2-1 lead over Belgium. Whereas in the 12th minute of the second quarter, Belgium equalized 2-2. Neither team had scored any goals in the third quarter. Whereas in the fourth quarter Belgium scored 3 goals to beat India 5-2.
