Amidst the stir of Gyanvapi case in Kashi, big news has come to the fore regarding Krishna Janmabhoomi case in Mathura. Let us inform that the Muthra Court has given permission to the suit filed for the demand for the removal of the Shahi Idgah Masjid. After this, the way has been cleared for the court proceedings on the petition to remove the Idgah mosque. Please tell that the Shahi Masjid in Mathura is adjacent to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple.
Significantly, this suit has been filed by Hindu organizations. In the petition, an appeal has been made to the court to get back 13.37 acres of land of Shri Krishna’s birth place on behalf of Lord Krishna. It has been claimed that the Keshavdev mound and land were illegally occupied by demolishing the temple on the orders of Aurangzeb about four hundred years ago and the Shahi Idgah mosque was built.
The petition states that the Shahi Idgah Mosque was built in 1669-70 on the orders of the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb near the Krishna Janmabhoomi. Ranjana Agnihotri, Harishankar Jain and Vishnu Jain are the petitioners of this petition.
Advocate Mukesh Khandelwal regarding Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid dispute said, “The plaintiff had filed suit in the lower court and observed that the plaintiff has no right to sue. Following which a revision was filed before the Mathura District Court. The court has now quashed the order of the lower court and stayed it.”
It is worth noting that advocate Harishankar Jain and his son Vishnu Jain, who played a key role in the construction of a temple at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, had filed the first suit in the court of civil judge in Mathura. However, his petition was rejected by the court on 30 September 2020.
After this, the petitioners filed a revision petition in the court of the District Judge. On which there was a long debate from 2020 till now. The district judge’s court has given its verdict on this petition today.
