There may be a need to start a movement for democracy in the country. Bharatiya Janata Party MP Subramanian Swamy has said this. In this regard, in a tweet, he said, “India’s democracy at the present time is limited by unnecessary restrictions. Which is unacceptable and a movement may have to be started for this.” Many users have also given reactions to this tweet of his.
One user, while replying to the tweet of the BJP leader, said that it should not be called democracy, but call it mob tantra. Another user said that where are your power, freedom and rights, have they decreased in the current government? A user agreed with Subramanian Swamy’s post and said that a nationwide movement is needed. At the same time, another user taunted and said that the movement started after seeing the Rajya Sabha seat going.
Subramaniam has also taken the Modi government on the mark regarding the prices of petrol and diesel
Earlier, Subramanian Swamy had targeted the Modi government for increasing the prices of petrol and diesel. He had said that due to the rise in oil prices, a rebellious-like situation is being created in the country. To do so is intellectual bankruptcy of the Finance Ministry and it is also anti-national. After the elections in five states, oil prices in the country are increasing continuously.
The opposition has attacked the central government many times on this issue. At the same time, the general public is also demanding relief in prices. Although the government says that raising or lowering oil prices is in the hands of oil companies, they have control over them, the government has no emphasis on this.
