Indian Railways has canceled many trains going to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. Passengers have been informed by Northern Railway that many trains have been canceled due to yard remodeling work at Gonda Junction of Lucknow Division. These 23 canceled trains pass through Bihar, UP and Madhya Pradesh.
It is worth noting that earlier Indian Railways had informed to start yard remodeling work at Gonda station from 16th May to 10th June. For this reason at least 80 trains have been canceled and many have been started from May 17. Now interlocking work is being done on 23rd May, due to which 23 trains will be canceled in a single day.

Today total 298 trains canceled
Indian Railways has canceled 298 trains on 23rd May to meet the demand of shortage of coal in the country and due to various reasons, 22 trains have been changed stations and 21 have been short terminated. Earlier, the Ministry of Railways had announced the cancellation of 1,100 passenger trains for 20 days.
