Indian Railways News: Passengers on Shatabdi and Vande Bharat Trains will soon be able to enjoy music during their journey. Indian Railways is introducing a new system for the entertainment of passengers during the journey. Northern Railway will introduce music and radio jockey entertainment in trains through passengers’ address system. The initiative aims to provide a pleasant travel experience to the passengers on Vande Bharat Express and Shatabdi. Indian Railways said that Safar Se Saath Sangeet is a very good combination. This will improve the mood of the passengers. According to an official release, Northern Railway has awarded a contract for radio service in Shatabdi and Vande Bharat trains of Delhi Division.
Welcome to Radio Music
According to news agency ANI, now passengers will travel to Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ajmer, Dehradun, Kanpur, Varanasi, Katra and Kathgodam in Shatabdi or Vande Bharat trains. Then they will be greeted by radio music. Entertainment/Railway information and commercial advertisement will be given in the ratio of 50 minutes:10 on hourly basis during the journey time. With this, the Railways will get annual revenue of Rs 43.20 lakh.
400 new trains in three years
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced to run 400 new Vande Bharat trains in three years in the budget presented for the financial year 2022-23. Nine companies have bid for the manufacturing of 58 new Vande Bharat trains. At present, 44 trains are being manufactured by Medha Engineering in 3 production units of the Railways.
LHB coach fitted in Kashi Vishwanath Express
Here LHB coaches have been installed in Kashi Vishwanath Express. With more space in this coach, it is also safe. LHB has 80 sleeper seats and 72 seats in third AC. Coaches do not ride on top of each other in case of an accident. In this, the passengers do not even get tremors during the journey.
