DCP Crime in Delhi Police, Satish Kumar wrote on his social media account, yesterday a sad experience took place in IndiGo flight number 6E2702 from Ayodhya to Delhi. After the scheduled departure at 3:25 pm, the flight was to land in Delhi at 4:30 pm. At around 4:15 pm, the pilot announced that the weather in Delhi was bad and assured that the plane had 45 minutes of holding fuel. The pilot attempted landing twice, but could not land due to bad weather. Even after this, a lot of time was wasted in deciding the future strategy.
At 5:30 pm (75 minutes after the announcement of holding fuel) the pilot announced that he would eventually attempt to land at Chandigarh. By that time many passengers and one crew member started vomiting due to panic. Finally the plane managed to land in Chandigarh at 6:10 pm. After landing it was discovered that the plane had only 1 or 2 minutes of fuel left and we had to land at the last minute. What an ordeal this was for the travelers.
