The corporation will construct the road by taking loan from the bank and will pay it after taking betterment charges from the public. In this way, there will be no financial burden on the corporation for road construction. The corporation is preparing to take a loan of Rs 141 crore from the bank for the construction of MR-3, MR-5 and RE-2 in the city. The betterment charge collected will be deposited in the account which will be opened while taking loan from the bank. In this way the loan taken for road construction will be repaid. The Municipal Corporation has set a target of constructing all three roads in the next two years. Betterment charges will be taken from the property and land owners coming within 500 meters on either side of the above three roads.
