On Saturday, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 30.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 16.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.
On Saturday morning, north easterly winds gusted at an average speed of 10 km per hour in the city, which led to a feeling of mild cold. The maximum wind speed of 20 kmph was recorded at 9.30 am. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 30 degrees on Saturday morning, which will remain around normal. According to the meteorologists of the Bhopal-based Meteorological Center, at present, the low pressure area formed in the southeast part of the Bay of Bengal has turned into a deep depression area. Due to this moisture is coming from the Bay of Bengal in the state.
Due to this effect, there is light rain in Chhindwara, Seoni Betul, Mandla and Balaghat in South Madhya Pradesh and its effect is being seen till Panchmarhi. There is a possibility of rain in these parts in southern Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. On March 8, another Western Disturbance will also be active over Northwest India. In such a situation, there is a possibility of rain in West Madhya Pradesh including Indore between March 7 and 9. Apart from this, the temperature of the city will continue to fluctuate in the coming days. By March 18, the maximum temperature in Indore is likely to reach 35 degrees.
