Gwalior News: Gwalior. New Zealand Representative. The state-of-the-art building of the Government College in Chinor village was inaugurated on Saturday. The college building was inaugurated by Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Singh K Yadav. On this occasion, MP Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar and former Higher Education Minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya were present as special guests. Students from hundreds of nearby villages including Chinaor will be benefited by the inauguration of this college building. Because there was no college nearby and the students had to go to Gwalior or other cities to study. In such a situation, considering the problem of the students, the government had decided to build a modern building.
Chinore College was established by former Higher Education Minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya during his tenure. Along with this, an amount of Rs 704 lakh was sanctioned for the construction of government college in Chinaur. The courses in Arts, Science and Commerce are conducted in the college. However, the work got delayed. But now the college building has been completed. A grand college building has been completed on an area of about 4 hectares at a cost of Rs 704 lakh in Chinore town. The building has been constructed in 2138 square meters on the ground floor and 1892 square meters on the first floor. Apart from the administrative rooms and conference halls in the college, 11 class rooms, separate laboratories for each of physics, chemistry and computer have been constructed. Boundary wall and approach road have been made around the building complex including the entrance. BJP District President Rural Kaushal Sharma, District Panchayat Administrative Committee Vice President Shanti Sharan Gautam, Janpad Panchayat Bhitarwar President Anita Rawat, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh and ADM Shri H B Sharma were present in the inauguration ceremony.
