The franchise announced on Saturday that they have created a virtual space in the metaverse called ‘The Titans Dugout’ where fans will be able to connect directly with the team. After this, Gujarat Titans, who made their debut in the 15th season of IPL on Sunday, entered the virtual world with the unveiling of the team’s logo. The event saw head coach Ashish Nehra, captain Hardik Pandya and young cricketer Shubman Gill interacting with each other revealing the logo in The Metaverse.

Gujarat Titans has appointed former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra as their coach, while team India’s 2011 World Cup-winning coach Gary Kirsten has been appointed as the mentor of the team. Vikram Solanki will be the director of the team.
CVC Capitals buys Gujarat franchise for Rs 5625 crore
A total of 10 teams will play in IPL this year instead of eight. The BCCI had announced two new teams for the IPL on October 25 last year. Ahmedabad was bought by CVC Capitals for Rs 5625 crore. Lucknow had announced its official name only last month. This team will be known as Lucknow Supergiants. Whereas Ahmedabad named itself as Gujarat Titans.
