The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet decided where the 15th season will be held. It is certain that all the matches will be played in India, but the final decision regarding the venue of the match has not been taken yet. Meanwhile, quoting media reports, it has come to the fore that Mumbai can be given 55 matches and Pune 15 matches.
According to Cricbuzz, matches of the tournament can be held at Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. At the same time, 15 matches can be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. All the teams can be seen playing four matches against each other at the Wankhede and DY Patil stadiums. At the same time, Brobourne and Pune will face each other in three matches.
Earlier it was reported that the board is considering two dates to start the 15th season of IPL. The broadcasters want the matches to start from March 26. However, one thing is certain that in any case the final match will be played on 29th May (Sunday).
