The police have been refused permission to take out the procession. Delhi Police has taken this tough step against those taking out the procession. Why was the case registered after all?
Let us tell you that before taking out the procession in Jahangirpuri, permission was not taken from the police-administration. Keeping this in mind, now this FIR has been registered. Stones were pelted during the procession in Jahangirpuri on Saturday. Due to which many people were injured. Even policemen were also reported to be injured. According to media reports, 7 policemen were injured in stone pelting. At present, there is a tense atmosphere in the area. On the other hand, the police have arrested 23 people so far in this entire case. But the atmosphere of tension continues in the area. Women have pelted stones at the police who came to arrest Sonu Chikna, it is clear that the residents there have made up their mind to make fun of law and order. They have no fear of law and order at all.
It should be noted that a large number of illegal Bangladeshi Muslims live in the slums of Jahangirpuri, who have committed acts of stone-pelting during the procession. These people have also been involved in illegal activities elsewhere. So far, all the people who have been caught by the police, all of them have a hand in one or the other criminal case. According to the police, some of these people were also involved in the case of violence against the CAA law. On the other hand, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana has told about the action taken so far by Delhi Police regarding Jahangirpuri violence in the press conference today. And also shared the information of the people arrested so far. He has appealed to all the people not to pay heed to the rumors being spread in the context of violence. Along with this, he also said that if any person is identified for spreading any rumors in the context of violence, then strict action will be taken against him.
