New Delhi. India has made another record. This is the record for hoisting the highest national flag. On 23 April, India defeated Pakistan by setting the Guinness World Record for hoisting the highest national flag. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present on this historic occasion. The Ministry of Culture has given information about creating a Guinness record. According to Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, the hero of 1857, more than 78000 flags were waved in Jagdishpur for 5 minutes. This program was done under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Earlier, India had also set the record for hoisting the largest national flag.

Nityanand Rai told that on April 23, people present together in the Veer Kunwar Singh Vijayotsav program in Bhojpur, Bihar waved 78220 flags. By doing this a Guinness World Record was created. Guinness representatives were on the spot. There he was dressed in a special kind of band to count the people. The Guinness certificate reads that the highest number of people were seen waving the flag to celebrate the Amrit Festival of Independence on 23 April 2022 at Jagdishpur, Bhojpur, Bihar on behalf of the Ministry of Home and Culture, Government of India.
Earlier, about 18 years ago, Pakistan made a world record by waving its flag in the hands of 56000 people. Pakistan has also now been defeated by India in this matter. At present the record is in the name of India and it remains to be seen which country now takes steps towards breaking this record.
