In view of Ramzan, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has allowed its Muslim employees to give short leave of two hours per day from office for a month. Its order has also been issued by the department.
In the order issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Jal Board, Virendra Singh on April 04, it has been said that the competent authority shall give permission to Muslim employees by the concerned DDO/controlling officer during the days of Ramzan i.e. from 03 April to 2 May 2022 or till the date of Eid ul Fitr. Approval has been given to allow short leave for about two hours every day.
However, it has also been made clear in this order that this short leave will be subject to the condition that they will complete their work during the remaining office hours so that office work is not affected.
