New Delhi. On the occasion of Ram Navami, many incidents related to communal clashes were reported from many states of the country. Violence was also reported from Khargone in Madhya Pradesh during a peaceful procession taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami. On the one hand, many parties including Congress are engaged in politics regarding this violence and are constantly trying to surround the Shivraj government. On the other hand, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, coming in action mode regarding Khargone case, also took strict action against the accused. While taking action in this violence case, bulldozers were run on the houses of the accused involved. Now the statement of former Union Minister and Congress leader Salman Khurshid has come to the fore on this matter. Salman Khurshid has expressed concern over the demolition of the houses of the accused of Khargone violence and said that a divided country can never rule the world. We have to replace fear with faith.
Unnecessary hate attack
In one of his Facebook posts, Salman Khurshid said that Muslims will lay down their lives for the country as usual but it hurts when their children are attacked for unleashing unnecessary hatred. What respect will be left for patriotism when the government destroys houses bypassing the law?
Social harmony between Hindu-Muslim is deteriorating!
Salman Khurshid also said that we cannot live by stone pelting and demolition alone. Government and non-government elements who attack Muslim citizens to promote themselves should be made to realize that they are also hurting Hindu-Muslim unity, the cornerstone of our republic and the bond of social harmony.
Let us tell you, during the procession on Ram Navami in Khargone, the incident of stone pelting came to the fore. Taking strict action against the accused of this violence, the Madhya Pradesh Police has run bulldozers at 45 houses and shops of the people involved. 16 houses and 29 shops have also been vandalized.
