Seoul: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has tested a missile once. This time North Korea has tested a medium-range ballistic missile towards the waters off its east coast. Information regarding the test has been given by the South Korean Army. Tension in the area increased further after the missile test conducted by North Korea. South Korea has always been opposing such actions of North Korea. South Korea alleges that North Korea is conducting such missile tests to provoke North Korea, saying such tests are a serious threat to the peace of the Korean Peninsula.
Missile launched near Pyongyang
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the missile was launched from an area near North Korea’s capital Pyongyang, but it was not known how far the missile traveled. This missile test by North Korea is going to increase tension in the region.
Have tested continuously
Let us tell you that, last month, North Korea tested a solid-fuel powered engine for its new, medium-range hypersonic missile. Earlier, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected the firing of rockets capable of carrying nuclear warheads that are reportedly designed to target South Korea’s capital Seoul.
Japan is taking precautions
Japan is also taking precautions regarding the missile tests conducted by North Korea. Meanwhile, the Japanese Coast Guard, while sharing the assessment of the country’s Defense Ministry, said that the missile has already landed in the water area but despite this it has urged the ships passing through the area to exercise caution. Japanese broadcaster NHK said the missile did not reach the country’s exclusive economic zone. (AP)
