Gadhvi belongs to a farmer family, his father Kherajbhai himself is a farmer. In the year 2021, he joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Isudan is also the joint general secretary of AAP. In May 2022, he also took out a Parivartan Yatra to strengthen the party. He had exposed a scam of Rs 150 crore in the state.
