A group of truck drivers have retreated. After this, the three-week-long protest against the necessity of the vaccine and the COVID restrictions is likely to end.
Ottawa Police Interim Chief Steve Bell said about two dozen vehicles blocking the main roads have been removed. One officer received minor injuries, but no protesters were injured. “We will continue the work until the protests are completely over,” Bell said. Four leaders who led the protesters were also among those arrested. One has got bail, while the others are in jail.
