The Islamabad High Court has given India one more opportunity to decide on the appointment of a lawyer in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case, a former Indian Navy sailor lodged in a Pakistani jail.
In its decision, the International Court of Justice has ordered an opportunity of appeal and hearing against Jadhav’s death sentence. Accordingly, hearing is to be held in Islamabad High Court. During the hearing, a demand has been made to appoint a lawyer to represent Jadhav. According to Pakistani media, India has been given an opportunity by the High Court to decide on the appointment of a lawyer.
