Russia claims to have killed 9,166 soldiers
Ukraine’s Defense Ministry has claimed 9,166 Russian military casualties during the war. It has been told by tweeting that in this war, which has been going on since February 24, Russia has 939 attacking military vehicles, 404 other vehicles contributing to the attack, 251 tanks, 105 artillery, 60 fuel tankers, 50 rocket launchers, 33 fighter aircraft, 37 attack helicopters, 18 air defense systems, three drones and two speed boats have been destroyed. In this way Russia has suffered huge loss of military life and property in Ukraine. On Thursday, a Major General of the Russian Army was killed in Ukraine. It is learned that he died of bullet injuries.
Today the third round of talks can be held
According to Russian media, a third round of talks between the delegations of Russia and Ukraine could be held on Saturday to discuss the possibility of a ceasefire. The second round of talks was held on Thursday and in which it was agreed to give safe passage to the domestic and foreign citizens to leave the war-torn areas. Similar concerns of both the countries have been found on some other points. There will be a third round of talks to decide on those agreed points.
NATO rejects Ukraine’s demand for a no fly zone
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has rejected a request by the Ukrainian government to declare the sky over Ukraine a no-fly zone to intercept Russian fighter jets. NATO is not part of this fight, he said. We are making all efforts so that the tension does not escalate beyond the borders of Ukraine. We are connected only by the resolve of the security of NATO countries. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that NATO is a protective alliance. Its purpose is not to increase tension.
Russia captures Europe’s largest nuclear plant
Russia on Friday captured Europe’s largest nuclear plant, Zaporizhia, as part of its military operation in Ukraine. The bombings that took place during the attack caught fire at the plant, causing a worldwide sensation. Immediately after the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other experts warned Russia of the danger of catastrophe, Ukrainian firefighters were given permission to put out the blaze. Russia has previously captured Ukraine’s Chernobyl nuclear plant. The US has accused Russia of a war crime of endangering mankind by attacking nuclear plants.
Russian army has trouble getting fuel and food
US defense experts claim that the army, which is engaged in attacks in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and several other cities, is facing a shortage of fuel and food. Due to bad weather, the vehicles in the Russian army convoy are stuck in mud and jam, so they are unable to deliver logistics to the soldiers fighting on the front lines.
