The people have once again got the double blow of inflation. On Thursday, the prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders have been increased. These increased prices will be applicable from today itself. With the increase in the price of LPG by Rs 3.50, the price of 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi has crossed Rs 1000. At the same time, the price of commercial gas has also increased by Rs 8. With this, the cost of commercial cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 2355.50.
Since this hike, the price of domestic gas has exceeded Rs 1000 in all cities of the country. The price of domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 1003, while the price of domestic LPG cylinder in Kolkata has gone up to Rs 1029 and in Chennai its price has gone up to Rs 1018.5 from today. At the same time, after this increase in Patna, the price of domestic gas cylinder has gone up to Rs 1100.
LPG cylinder prices increased for the second time this month
Before the increase in LPG gas prices on May 19 i.e. today, LPG was increased on May 7 as well. While the price of LPG was increased by Rs 50, the price of commercial cylinder was also increased by Rs 50. Apart from this, on March 22, the price of cooking gas was increased by Rs 50. At the same time, after the increase in the price of gas by Rs 102.50 in May, now the price of commercial gas has gone up to Rs 2355.50.
194 rupees increased in about a year
It is worth noting that since last year, the price of LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 194. After increasing the prices of cooking and commercial gas several times, now the price of domestic gas has reached Rs 1003 in Delhi. Whereas in June 2021 last year, the price of S LPG cylinder was Rs 809.
Let us inform that while on one hand the price of LPG cylinder is increasing continuously, on the other hand the price of petrol and diesel has remained stable after crossing Rs 100. However, due to the increase in inflation rates, fuel prices are expected to increase further. Apart from this, vegetables, milk and other things are also likely to be expensive.
