After Hindu organizations, Muslim organizations have also opposed Love Jihad in Madhya Pradesh. The All India Ulema Board has written a letter to the Qazis of the state asking them not to complete any suspicious marriage ceremony. The board has also warned of action against such marriages.
State President of All India Ulema Board Qazi Syed Anas Ali Nadvi said that in a special meeting of Ulema Board in Bhopal it was decided that there should be absolutely no cases of love jihad in India and Madhya Pradesh. We want to maintain the atmosphere of peace, peace and harmony within our state and country. We want to uphold our Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb.
AIUB President Nadvi said that we have written letters to all the Qazis of the state. It has been practiced for many years that there is a presence of parents in the marriage of a boy and a girl. There is no marriage of any one religion in any other religion. Some complaints had come to us in Madhya Pradesh, in which some Qazis conducted such marriages. We are getting him checked. Its not confirmed yet.
Nadvi said that we have strongly appealed that if you come to conduct such type of marriage, then there is no need to get married at all. So that the atmosphere of this country and the state remains intact. If anyone does this kind of work, we will take the strictest action against him.
AIUB President Nadvi said that even Islam does not allow you to change your religion for marriage. Everyone has the freedom to follow their religion. It is not that if you like a person of another religion, then you should change your religion for that.
