Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress President Archana Jaiswal removed, but retained four senior vice presidents
Madhya Pradesh Women Congress: Bhopal (State Bureau). With the formation of the All India Mahila Congress, the state executive of the Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress, which is surrounded by controversy, has been dissolved. State President Dr. Archana Jaiswal was also removed by the party, but four senior vice-presidents have been retained. Onika Mehrotra, the national general secretary of the organization, said that soon a decision will be taken regarding the organization. There were many complaints about inaction and distribution of posts on Mahila Congress.
All India Mahila Congress had announced the executive committee of Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress on 30 January. The dispute started even before 24 hours had passed. Sonia Atul Shukla, who was made the General Secretary, had resigned from the post saying that I was the General Secretary 15 years ago and am handling the responsibility of observer in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, so I will not be able to do justice to the post of General Secretary. After his resignation, voices of protest started rising from other places as well.
In view of this, Dr. Archana Jaiswal had stopped the list of appointment of state executive and district presidents. Appointment letters were not given to any of the officials. Also, to deal with the dissatisfaction, with the consent of the state in-charge, a disciplinary committee of state vice-president Neeta Sharad Tiwari, Pushpa Sharma and Yasmin Sherani was formed. All the officials were told that if anyone has any objection, they can apply in writing to the committee. In the midst of this exercise, appointment orders were also issued last week.
On the other hand, the central organization on Wednesday dissolved the executive announced on 30 January 2022. While releasing this information, National General Secretary and state in-charge said that only senior vice presidents Rashmi Bhardwaj, Kavita Pandey, Jamna Maravi and Noori Khan have been retained in the State Mahila Congress. It is to be known that all the appointments were made before the formation of the executive.
I will present my side in front of the organization
After the dissolution of the state executive, Dr. Jaiswal said that it is the decision of the organization. I will present my side in front of the organization. I issued the same list which was approved by the central organization.
