Maha Shivratri 2022: Ujjain (Naiduniya representative). In the world famous Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple, no person will be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum and Nandi Mandapam on Mahashivaratri. Only priests, priests and employees engaged in the arrangement will be allowed to enter the restricted area.
Entry of devotees restricted in sanctum sanctorum and Nandi Mandapam for three days
Administrator Ganesh Kumar Dhakad told that thousands of devotees from all over the country come to see Lord Mahakal on Mahashivratri. Allowing devotees to enter the sanctum sanctorum, Nandi Mandapam spoils the system and also takes time for darshan. Therefore, the entry of devotees in the sanctum sanctorum and Nandi Mandapam has been restricted for three days from 28 February to 2 March.
Lord Mahakal will have darshan from Ganesh Mandapam
According to the information, all the visitors will have darshan of Lord Mahakal only from Ganesh Mandapam. Four lines will be run simultaneously in Ganesh Mandapam so that devotees can have convenient darshan of Lord in less time.
Overcast makeup of Lord Mahakal
In the Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple, on the third day of Shiva Navratri, on Wednesday, Lord Mahakal was adorned in an overcast form. The devotees were relieved to see the divine form of the Lord. On Thursday, God will be adorned in Chhabina form. According to the tradition of Shiv Navratri, the priests first worshiped Lord Chandramouleshwar, Koteshwar and Rameshwar in the morning. After this Lord Mahakal was anointed with Panchamrit and sandalwood in the sanctum. After the worship, 11 Brahmins recited Rudra. After Bhog Aarti at 1 pm and evening worship at 3 pm, Mahakal was adorned with new clothes, ornaments and overcast masks.
