Maha Shivratri 2022: Ujjain (New World Representative). Devotees will be allowed entry from 5:30 am on Tuesday. There will be continuous darshan till 11 pm on Wednesday night. The vision system has been fixed. Around two lakh devotees are expected to visit. Arrangements have been made to provide darshan to each devotee in 45 minutes. This time Shivratri festival is going to be more special. On the occasion of the marriage of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, preparations are being made to decorate the entire shrine with lamps. 21 lakh diyas will be lit. This will be a record.
After the opening of the doors, Lord Mahakal will be incinerated. After this, the sequence of worship and worship will continue in the sanctum sanctorum. The temple management committee has built the entrance in front of the Chardham temple. From here, entry will be given to general devotees and visitors with a speedy darshan ticket of Rs 250.
VVIP admission from Madhav Seva Nyas
Vehicles of VVIP devotees coming from Indore, Dewas and Bhopal side will be brought to the parking of Madhav Seva Nyas from the street near Saraswati School via Harifatak Overbridge. From here the visitors will enter the temple through the roof of the old control room.
Priests, entry of priests through gate number four
The entry of the priests, priests, their relatives and other pass-holders of the temple will be through gate number four. All these visitors will reach the gate through the street near Badi Ganesh temple. A free shoe stand has been set up for the general visitors in Ganga Garden near Char Dham temple. Devotees will take off their shoes and slippers and stand in the queue for darshan. Devotees will also come here on their return after darshan.
Speedy Darshan Ticket and Laddu Prasad counter here
The administration has set up early darshan tickets and laddish prasad counters worth Rs 250 near the Chardham temple. Visitors will soon buy darshan tickets from here and enter the temple by taking a prescribed queue at the front entrance.
Parking built in Karkaraj temple area
For the first time on Mahashivratri, the administration has made vehicle parking in the Karkaraj temple complex. Devotees will reach the parking lot via Jaisinghpura and after parking their vehicle, walk about 500 meters to the Chardham temple.
free e rickshaw and magic vehicle
The district administration, in collaboration with the temple committee, has arranged free e-rickshaws and magic vehicles to travel from Karkaraj temple parking to Chardham temple. Devotees can take advantage of the facility.
13 lakh diyas will be lit on the ghats of Shipra
A record will be set for lighting 13 lakh earthen lamps at one time at Ramghat, Datta Akhara Ghat, Guru Nanak Ghat, Nrusingh Ghat, Sunhari Ghat, Ravidas Ghat on the banks of Shipra river. 51 thousand lamps will be lit in the Mahakal temple. The Guinness Book of World Records team has also done photo-video recording of the rehearsal. 21 lakh diyas will be lit in the entire city.
