Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Saturday laid the foundation stone of Rich Organic Fertilizer Plant and Nano Urea Plant at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited in Chembur, Mumbai. He said that a plant with a capacity to produce 1,50,000 bottles of nano urea a day is coming up at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF), which will probably cost Rs 150 crore.
He said that production would start in a year and the nano urea produced annually at the Nano Urea Plant at RCF would replace 20 lakh metric tonnes of conventional urea. In the coming time, Nano Urea will also fulfill the demand of farmers in the country.
Earlier, Maharashtra BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis also inaugurated several public works in Thane on Saturday. He asked the party workers to take inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to ensure justice to every person.
Fadnavis claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running a welfare government by learning from the great philanthropy and administrative qualities of the Maratha emperor. Referring to the redevelopment of dilapidated buildings in Thane, he said that there are some people who claim to take credit for the work done by others and the permission for these works was given by the previous BJP-led government. Fadnavis also inaugurated a Divyang-friendly park at Naupada.
