Indore, New Dunia Rep. The festival of Shiva worship, Mahashivratri is celebrated with gaiety in Shiva temples. The six-day marriage festival started on Friday in the ancient Siddheshwar Mahadev temple Jagjivan Ram Nagar located in the labor area of the city. On this occasion devotees applied turmeric to Mahadev. This was followed by Aarti and Prasad distribution. It is on 1st March of Mahashivratri.
Pt. Satosh Sharma told that there will be a mandap worship on 26th, Mehndi on 27th, Sangeet program on 28th. The marriage will be organized on March 1 on Mahashivratri. Lord Shiva’s procession will come out on this occasion. The two-day marriage festivities at Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple Gandhi Hall will start from February 28. Pt. Dineshkumar Ojha told that on Monday, from 5 pm onwards, the marriage festivities will begin with the law. After this, on Mahashivratri, Bhasma aarti will be done at six in the morning, Mahadev will be adorned as a bridegroom by adorning him with dry fruits at six in the evening. Four Pahar Puja will start from 9 o’clock in the night.
Mahashivratri and Maharishi Dayanand Bodhotsav from today
Mahashivratri and Maharishi Dayanand Bodhotsav were organized by Arya Samaj from 26 to 28 February at Arya Samaj Mandir, Ganji Compound. There will be bhajans, discourses from 9 to 12 in the morning and from 6 to 8.30 in the evening. In this, Acharya Harishankar Agnihotri will come from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He will address on scriptures like Vedas, Upanishads, Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana etc.
Three days Shiva element and contemplation Shiva story
From 26 to 28 February, Shiv Tattva and Chintan Shiv Katha will be organized daily from 3 to 6 pm at Geeta Bhawan by Agrasen Seva Organization. In this, Mahamandaleshwar Acharya Bhaskaranand, who came from Shridham Vrindavan, will address. Founder Sheetal Sanjay Todiwala told that during the program turmeric will be applied to Lord Shiva on 26th February and Lord Shiva’s procession will be celebrated on 27th February and Ganpati birth anniversary will be celebrated on 28th February.
