new Delhi. Mahatma Gandhi’s granddaughter Sumitra Gandhi Kulkarni on Saturday announced the launch of ‘Modi Story’, a volunteer initiative to bring together the inspiring moments of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life.
Gandhi Kulkarni, while promoting the website launched on various social media platforms, said in the trailer, “A young man used to come and live with us. We were good friends and this continues even today.”
It also has evidence edited by spiritual guru and social activist Swami Avdheshanand Giri, classical dancer Sonal Mansingh, Olympian Neeraj Chopra and badminton star Pullela Gopichand.
Kishorilal Agarwal, a veteran witness from Gujarat, told how he reminds Modi of coming in a turbaned avatar similar to a Sikh during the Emergency days.
According to Modi Story, “Building a New India is a story of common Indians coming together, who aspire to greatness in the spirit of ‘Hum Log’.”
“At its core, igniting action and aspirations, is Narendra Modi,” he said. He said there are many people from far and near who have caught a glimpse of Modi’s life, his intention, integrity and intensity. They have come inspired to infuse the spirit of ‘Can Do’ in everyone. ‘Modi Story’ is about such voices. It’s about all of us collectively and individually.”
