The police have arrested another accused, making a big disclosure of the case of paper leak and dummy candidates in the Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination 2021 in Rajasthan. Additional Director General of Police, ATS. And S.O.G. VK Singh said that Mahendra Kumar’s son Mancharam Borana has been arrested on the basis of identification of accused Ramnivas Bishnoi, accused in this case.
According to the information received, 42 -year -old Mahendra Kumar is a resident of Odo’s street near Gayatri temple in Bhinmal in Jalore district. He runs a photo studio named ‘Ajanta Photo Studio’ in Bhinmal. The accused used to do photo mixing along with photography and videography at a photo studio.
Investigation revealed that Mahendra Kumar had prepared fake photos in place of the original candidates in the sub-inspector recruitment examination. The accused made a new photo of Ramnivas Bishnoi and Hanuman Ram, which put a new photo on Ramnivas’s admit card. Similarly, photos of Narpatlal and Hanuman Ram were mixed and pasted on the admit card of Narpatlal. Through these admit cards, dummy candidates took the exam on 14 and 15 September 2021 and passed the examination.
Mahendra Kumar was arrested on 14 April 2025 and produced in court, from where he has been sent on police remand till 16 April 2025. A total of 100 accused have been arrested in this case so far. The police is also investigating how many other candidates have committed fraud by mixing photos of how many other candidates.
