Mahindra & Mahindra has entered into a business partnership with Adani Total Energy e-Mobility Limited (ATEL), an Adani Group company. According to information provided by the company, Mahindra on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ATEL to expand EV charging infrastructure in the country. Under this MoU, both the companies will together determine a roadmap for building a wide EV charging infrastructure across the country. With this collaboration, XUV400 customers will now get access to over 1,100 chargers on the BlueSense+ app, significantly increasing the convenience and accessibility of electric vehicle charging for Mahindra EV owners.
Will help in expanding EV charging infrastructure
Vijay Nakra, President, M&M Limited (Automotive Division) said that this partnership will help in increasing the EV charging infrastructure. Suresh P. Mangalani, Executive Director and CEO, Adani Total Gas Limited, said that this is another step towards the expansion of Adani Total Gas Limited in the EV sector. The collaboration with M&M for charging infrastructure will increase the company’s confidence in customers adopting EV technology as part of the energy transition.
Research is also part of partnership
Additionally, the partnership will also include offering e-mobility solutions to provide seamless access to charging networks for customers covering discovery, availability, navigation and transactions, M&M said. It said that with this collaboration, electric vehicle XUV400 customers will now have access to more than 1,100 chargers.
