American Embassy had expressed fear of attack
After this attack, Moscow’s Health Ministry said that teams of more than 50 ambulances have been sent to the scene. So far, more than 100 people have been rescued from the basement of Crocus City Hall. According to news agency Sputnik, several days before the shooting at Crocus Hall, the US Embassy in Moscow had expressed apprehension about possible attacks. The US Embassy had published a statement in this regard on its website on March 7. In the statement, the US Embassy said that the Embassy is following reports that people are planning attacks in Moscow, including at music festivals. American citizens should avoid going to large gatherings for the next 48 hours.
