-First of all you have to take small boiled potatoes, make holes in them and store them in a bowl.
-After this, mix turmeric, salt, red chilli powder and curd on this potato.
-Now take a pan, put it on the gas and add a little oil in it.
-Add cashew nuts, cinnamon, cloves and cumin, big cardamom, bay leaf, onion, garlic and ginger and fry.
-When it gets lightly roasted, put it in the mixer and grind it.
-After this, cut the tomato, grind it and keep it aside.
-Now all you have to do is take a pan or a frying pan and put it on the gas.
-Add oil and let it heat completely.
-When it becomes hot, add some cumin and asafoetida in it.
-Put whatever you have grinded on top of it.
-Now add turmeric, coriander and chilli powder and mix. Add salt and cook the spices.
-Now take a pan on the other side, add a little oil in it and add boiled potatoes and fry them.
-Fry the potatoes and add them to the spices.
-Cook everything thoroughly.
-Add Kasuri Methi on top and keep frying.
-When color and aroma start coming from it, add light water and cook.
-Once cooked, chop coriander leaves and mix it. Your Dum Aloo is ready and now serve it comfortably.
