Potato Fry Salted Halwa- If you feel like eating something salty during the fast, then you can make and eat Namkeen Halwa. For this, boil the potatoes, peel them and cut them into pieces. Heat ghee in a pan and then add cumin seeds and green chillies. If you eat tomatoes, then add some tomatoes too. Put chopped potatoes in it and then keep stirring it. Now mix rock salt and add green coriander and roasted peanuts. Tasty Namkeen Potato Halwa is ready.

Sweet potato pudding- Those observing sweet fast can also eat sweet potato pudding. For this, boil the potatoes, peel them and then mash them finely. Put 1 tsp ghee in the pan and roast a little coconut and Chironji seeds in it and take them out. Now put some more ghee in the pan and add mashed potatoes and cook while stirring. Cook the potatoes till they become light brown. To brown the potatoes quickly, add sugar and a little ground cardamom. When the color of the pudding turns brown, add roasted coconut and Chironji. Sweet Potato Halwa is ready.

Curd potatoes- You can also eat dahi aloo without oil and ghee during the fast. For this, take thick curd and mix boiled and chopped potatoes in it. Blend the curd a little and then add rock salt and roasted cumin powder to it. You can also add green chillies or black pepper to it. You can eat them to your heart’s content.
