Two Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force personnel were injured in an IED blast in the election state of Manipur on Sunday. The blast took place at around 8 pm in Wangu Tera area of Kakshing district, 45 km from capital Imphal.
The injured constables Gaurav Rai and Girija Shankar were on patrol with the state police, officials said. Both of them are soldiers of 610 Battalion posted on election duty. Both have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in the district. Both are out of danger. The state goes to polls in two phases on February 28 and March 5.
