Lucknow . After the crushing defeat in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the BSP has started making changes in the party. Ritesh Pandey, MP from Ambedkar Nagar, has been removed from the post of leader of the party in the Lok Sabha. In his place, Nagina Lok Sabha MP Girish Chandra Jatav has now been given this responsibility. At the same time, Mayawati has paid tribute to Kanshi Ram, the founder of BSP- DS Four in Lucknow on Tuesday. BSP national president Mayawati has changed the charge of leaders during the budget session of Lok Sabha. Girish Chandra Jatav has now been made the leader of the party in the Lok Sabha in place of Ritesh Pandey, the BSP’s Lok Sabha member from Ambedkar Nagar. Girish Chandra Jatav is a Lok Sabha member from Nagina in Bijnor. With this, Ram Shiromani Verma will continue as Deputy Leader of the Lok Sabha while Sangeeta Azad has been made the Chief Whip. Earlier Girish Chandra Jatav was the chief whip of the party.
The reason for the removal of Ritesh Pandey from this post is believed to be the defeat of the party in Ambedkar Nagar as well as the becoming MLA of Samajwadi Party of Rakesh Pandey, the father of Ritesh Pandey, former MP from BSP. Rakesh Pandey’s stature is considered very big in Ambedkar Nagar. This time before the assembly elections, after the big leaders of BSP Lalji Verma and Ram Achal Rajbhar, Rakesh Pandey’s joining the SP has cleared the BSP in Ambedkar Nagar district, which is considered to be a big stronghold of the BSP.
On the other hand, on Kanshi Ram’s birthday, the BSP chief paid tribute to him in the office of the capital Lucknow. On this occasion, he said that the historical struggle and contribution towards the Bahujan movement of self-respect and self-respect can never be forgotten. He will always be a source of inspiration. The struggling journey of the caravan of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution, will continue despite the ups and downs.
