Lucknow. After the defeat in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati has started besieging the government. In this connection, on Monday, he raised the matter of ban on army recruitment. He said that since the situation of Corona is normal, the Central Government should reconsider both the aspects in due course.
Mayawati wrote through Twitter on Monday that the ban on organizing recruitment rallies in the army due to Corona for the last two years will continue. This information given in the Parliament is definitely not good news for the youth of the country, unemployed families and especially the hardworking youth who have the zeal to recruit in the army.
He further wrote that according to media reports, military officers are also worried about this, because according to them, the continuous ban on this army recruitment rallies will have a bad effect on the preparations of the army till the bottom. Now that the situation in Corona is normal, the Central Government should reconsider both the aspects in due course.
It is to be known that the issue of army recruitment had also arisen during the assembly elections. In many of his rallies, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav raised the issue of stopping recruitment in the army. The issue also cropped up in Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s election meetings in Deoria and Ballia. When Rajnath Singh was about to finish his speech, some youths started demanding opening of recruitment in the army. On this, Rajnath Singh had assured that recruitment would be started soon.
