New Delhi. Recently, more than 90 flights of Air India Express could not take off simply because a large number of its employees fell ill. The impact on flight operations due to more than 100 staff falling ill is currently a topic of discussion. Meanwhile, the statement of the company’s managing director has now come to light in this matter. MD Alok Singh has sent an emotional message to all his staff. He said, ‘Since yesterday evening, more than 100 of our colleagues have taken sick leave. Most of these are L-1 employees, due to which more than 90 flights have been affected.
He said, ‘Efforts are being made to normalize flight operations in the absence of airline crew. All doors of management are open for talks. A town hall has also been scheduled for tomorrow. Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.
