Jaipur . On the second and last day of the ongoing Medifest-2022 exhibition in the grounds of Sawai Mansingh Medical College, there was a large number of footfalls of the general public. Students associated with nursing and medical education along with the general public participated in large numbers and knew and appreciated the innovations being done by the state government in the medical field.
Principal Secretary Finance Akhil Arora, Principal Secretary of Medical Medical Education, Vaibhav Galaria, Secretary of Special Government Naresh Thakral, Commissioner of Medical Education Mrs Shivangi Swarnakar, IEC Director Mr Sunil Sharma and other officials visited the exhibition on Wednesday.
Achievements of the department displayed on 60 stalls
More than 60 stalls were put up by the Department of Medical and Health, Medical Education and Sawai Mansingh Medical College in the exhibition held in the grounds of SMS Medical College. In these, the remarkable work done by the department in the last 3 years has been displayed. Many schemes including Chief Minister Free Medicine Scheme, Chief Minister Checkup Scheme, Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, Maternal and Child Health Scheme, Chiranjeevi Janani Suraksha Yojana, Chiranjeevi 108/104 Ambulance Services, Chiranjeevi Bike Ambulance Service, E Sanjeevani Telemedicine Service, Wellness Center, etc. Displayed live models and posters related to Apart from this, the work done by the Medical Education Department in 30 districts of the state was also shown. The public was also made aware of the new techniques and innovations coming in medicine in the exhibition.
