After this video went viral, the Burhanpur Superintendent of Police has sent a notice to the police personnel who went to arrest the thief and sought answers.
Talking to the media, Superintendent of Police Rahul Kumar Lodha said, “This incident is of 16 February which has come to the headlines through social media. A notice has been sent to Sub-Inspector Keshav Patil in this matter and further action will be taken accordingly. On February 16, the police had gone to Pratapgarh in UP and arrested the accused and brought him to MP. At the same time, he reached the Sangam beach and handcuffed the accused and the policemen started bathing.

Rewa SSP Navneet Bhasin said, “In the above case an FIR has been registered and the people who are seen in the video, there is also a teacher. A letter is being written to the District Rewa Collector regarding them and the team has left to nab the other accused and they will be caught at the earliest.
The SSP further said that, “We are also getting this information that in which police stations there is a record against them and if so, how are they working in the field of education? Discussions have been held with the collector, action will be taken as soon as the information is complete.
